David Bayu, also known as David Naif, is a renowned Indonesian musician who rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the popular band Naif. Born on August 29, 1976 in Solo, Central Java, David's musical journey began when he enrolled as a graphic design student at the Jakarta Institute of the Arts in 1994. It was there that he met the fellow musicians who would later form the band Naif.
With Naif, David has released an impressive discography of 9 albums, including 6 full-length studio albums, 1 best-of compilation, 1 live album, and 1 free album, spanning from 1998 to 2011.
