Alexandra Ianculescu is a Romanian-Canadian athlete who has competed in both speed skating and cycling at the highest levels. Born on October 21, 1991, in Sibiu, Transylvania, Romania, Alexandra immigrated to Canada with her family in 2001 at the age of 10. She grew up in Toronto and began her athletic career as a short track speed skater before transitioning to long track speed skating in 2007.
